Caravan - City

Regular readers know that I usually hit up either Koya or Bleecker for my post-haircut dinner. So, for this time, decided to do something different and ended up solo-dining here instead.

As the saying goes: sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you’ll always lose if you never try in the first place.

Intrigued by their “world” cuisine menu, I was curious why this place was always so busy. Especially as the rule of thumb that a good kitchen typically has a menu that is both restrained and focused. Not one that spans hot-smoked salmon with furikake, sourdough pizzas, and schnitzel.

I left not-hungry though not-full and still not quite getting its popularity.

Whilst the service was fine, if somewhat perfunctory, the food wasn’t to my taste. And for what I paid, I would’ve had a far better meal elsewhere. A classic example of your mileage may vary when trying a new place out.
