10 Greek Street

Although restaurants can and do change, it’s with the good restaurants where you can still feel their DNA running straight and true even with the changes.

And all the COVID lockdowns were certainly a massive reason for forcing change on restaurants, the menus they served, and how their operated.

So, pre-lockdown, at 10 Greek Street, we enjoyed checking out and ordering from their “secret” menu that wasn’t on the blackboard. Not to mention the amazing bread varieties they had.

Today, post-lockdown, whilst struggling to have a dairy-free starter, chef gave us a “hidden” grilled prawn starter that was simply done yet stunningly good.

And instead of the bread, they now do pizzas. Not just for the takeaway market, not some oddity on their stripped back menu, and definitely not just any pizza but one that rivalled the ones I loved at ASAP Pizza - now, sadly closed.

We hadn’t planned on eating here that March evening but I’m very glad that we did.
