Batman Day

With DC Entertainment doing a pop-up exhibition to celebrate Batman Day, managed to grab two tickets to check it out with Peeny.

Whilst I’m a fan of the original 1989 Batman as well as the Nolan trilogy, I’m not a die-hard Batman fan. It’s probably why I didn’t know that the 3rd Saturday in September is celebrated as Batman Day!

Aside from the “interactive” elements which were either pretty goofy or more aimed at children, the main attraction was seeing the costumes from the movies.

Such as the various Batman suits worn by Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Pattinson.

And, it was cool seeing some of the props from the films close-up. Especially those from The Dark Knight - my favourite of all the Batman films to date. Combination of a great story, Heath Ledger’s performance, and Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack.

In honestly, the exhibition was rather small and it took us less than 45 min to be finished. But, given that the cost of entry was virtually free (only a few quid for the booking fee) I can’t complain.
